Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a Store Team Member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will handle POS, process payments, request donations at POS, price goods, close out shifts, and maintain floor standards.

The role requires a high school education, excellent customer service, strong math skills, and fluent English. Candidates must be 18+, pass background checks, and be reliable in attendance.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent; required for the role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong math abilities are preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Performs Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods based on merchandise, markings, or staff guidance.
• Completes closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers entering the store and thanks customers leaving.
