Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a store team member in Payson to lead an excellent customer and brand experience. You will run registers and help maintain sales floor standards at the Payson location.

Responsibilities include handling POS payments, greeting customers, stocking merchandise, and supporting a clean, safe shopping environment while upholding Goodwill core values of trust, collaboration, engagement, ownership, and innovation.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via merchandise type, markings, or help from on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers that enter the store and thanks customers leaving the establishment.
• Maintains sales floor by following floorwork and picture process map standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate area as assigned.
• Utilizes phones and paging systems to make announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Models Goodwill Core Values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
