Job summary

Buc-ee's in Wharton, TX is hiring a friendly cashier to deliver fast, accurate checkout service on a busy retail floor. You will handle transactions, balance cash at shifts, and keep the line moving while upholding state liquor laws when needed.

The role requires a willingness to work weekends and holidays, good basic math, and clear communication. Prior POS experience helps, but reliability and teamwork are valued above all.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute a clean, friendly and in‑stock checkout experience.
• Accurately transact items and accept all payment methods.

• Process exchanges and refunds per company policy.
• Maintain tidy checkout area and assist in stocking.
• Train new cashiers and support team as needed.
• Respond to customer complaints as first responder.
