Job summary

Buc-ee's in Robertsdale, AL is seeking friendly Cashiers to provide fast, accurate checkout service. You will handle payments, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment. The role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k match. Weekend/holiday availability is expected, and prior cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Listen to customer needs and communicate clearly.
• Mastery knowledge of POS functions.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand/walk on hard surfaces and lift 40–50 lbs.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions may occur.
• Cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience.
• Transact items and accept all payment methods at POS.
• Process beer transactions per state laws.
• Balance cash drawer at start/end of shift.
• Handle exchanges and refunds per policy.
• Maintain clean checkout area and assist with stocking.
• Serve as first responder to customer complaints.
• Train new cashiers and perform other duties as assigned.
