Job summary

Buc-ee's is hiring a cashier to provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout services in a high-volume store in Texas. The role requires handling POS transactions, customer interaction, and supporting stocking and cleanliness in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Execute a clean, friendly, in-stock checkout experience for every customer.
• Accurately transact items at checkout using POS and acceptable payment methods.
• Balance cash drawer at start and end of shift; process exchanges and refunds per policy.
• Maintain a clean checkout area and assist with stocking, labeling, and price tags.
• Train new cashiers and respond to customer complaints as first responder.
