Job summary

Buc-ee's Baytown, TX is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver fast checkout and accurate service. You will ring up items, handle payments, process exchanges, and balance cash drawer at shift start and end.

You should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 40–50 lb, work weekends/holidays, and provide helpful customer care in a fast-paced store environment. Buc-ee's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience as a cashier preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute a clean, friendly and in-stock checkout experience for every customer.
• Accurately transact items for checkout on POS units and accept all payment methods.
• Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of each shift.
• Process exchanges and refunds per company policy.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area; assist in stocking and labeling.
• Serve as first responder to customer complaints and train new cashers.
