Job summary

Buc-ee's, Ltd. is hiring a friendly cashier to deliver fast, accurate checkout services. You will handle transactions, comply with beer-purchase laws, balance tills, assist with stocking, and respond to customer needs in a busy retail environment. Weekend availability is needed, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly.
• Attain mastery knowledge of POS functions.
• Able to function in a fast-paced work environment.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 40-50 pounds regularly.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute a clean, friendly and in-stock checkout experience for every customer.
• Accurately transacts customer items for checkout on POS and accepts all payment methods.
• Transact beer purchases in accordance with state laws.
• Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of each shift.
• Process exchanges and refunds per company policy.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.
• Assist in stocking, rotating merchandise and labeling prices.
• Serve as first responder to customer complaints.
• Train new cashiers and perform other duties as required.
