What You’ll do

The Cashier plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth transactional experiences. Responsibilities include greeting and interacting with customers, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

• Deliver outstanding service through clear communication and active listening.
• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor.
• Assist customers via the cashier script, explaining loyalty programs, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan (RKPPP).
• Manage cash, returns, layaways, and exchanges following company policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers and associates.
• Provide product information and basic assistance.
• Coordinate with loaders and respond promptly to customer requests.
• Execute transactions efficiently, prioritize timely service, and resolve price disputes professionally.
• Stand at designated areas to assist customers when not engaged in transactions.
• Highlight benefits of the loyalty program and the RK Visa card.
• Respond to calls professionally, identifying the store and yourself.
• Reconcile registers and file paperwork accurately.
• Properly deactivate EAS devices or spider wraps as needed.
• Maintain awareness to prevent loss and deliver excellent service.
• Perform cashier duties, including stocking, cleaning, and managing registers.
• Refill stations and keep facilities clean for positive customer experiences.
• Use office equipment as needed and participate in cross-training.
• Engage in training programs and learning initiatives.
• Provide friendly support to customers and team members.
