Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. seeks a To Go Specialist/Cashier to provide outstanding service and menu guidance for guests ordering to-go or for office delivery.

You will work with a friendly team, learn our brand through online training, and handle multiple duties from POS transactions to table cleanliness while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be self-motivated, organized and able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain menu items to ensure great at-home or office orders.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations and expediting orders.
• Operate tablets and POS equipment with accuracy during peak times.
• Support team members and maintain a clean, friendly service area.

Who We're Looking For

As a To Go Specialist/Cashier, you will share with our Guests your knowledge of the menu allowing them to have a great experience at home or in their office. We expect you to be punctual, to support your fellow Team Members, and complete side duties that include but may not be limited to bussing tables, cleaning workstations, expediting orders and running food.

Education and Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred

Skills, Competencies and Certifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
• English language and professional communications skills are required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge

• Must maintain a friendly famous attitude regardless of how busy the position may get
