Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete satisfaction through friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information to customers, resolve complaints, and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting. You should maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, direct customers to products, and stay informed about store events and seminars. Maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area and executing other related duties are also part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependability and flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $16.55 - $20.75/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
