Job summary

Castle Automotive Group is seeking a friendly Cashier at Castle VW of Schaumburg to handle payments and uphold a high level of customer service in a busy dealership. The role is on-site in Schaumburg, IL.

The position requires 2+ years of dealership cashier experience, weekend availability, and strong communication. You will assist with scheduling, direct customers, and support overall team operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dealership cashier experience.
• Ability to work Saturdays with one weekday off and Sundays off.
• Familiarity with dealership processes and systems.
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects.
• Willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Ability to work the listed hours.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Punctual with schedule flexibility in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or debits for serviced vehicles.
• Scan service and parts documents.

Location: Castle VW of Schaumburg

What You’ll Do as a Cashier:

• Receive and manage payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits from customers who have had their vehicles serviced at the dealership.
• Scans service and parts documents
• Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the salesperson
• Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
• Assist in scheduling and confirming sales appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Cashier Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of dealership cashier experience
• Ability to work on Saturdays with one day off during the week and Sundays off
• Familiarity with dealership processes and systems
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at once
• Desire to jump in to support the team wherever there's a need
• Ability to work the listed hours
• Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
• Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment

Cashier - $15 - $17/hour

Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts
