Job summary

Urbane Cafe is hiring friendly Cashiers in Santa Clarita, CA. You’ll greet guests, take orders at the register, answer menu questions and ensure a positive guest experience. This fast-paced role emphasizes accurate cash handling and teamwork.

We offer scheduling flexibility with lunch and dinner shifts, on-the-job training, and opportunities for growth as the company expands in Southern California.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English with guests and team
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Bi-lingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and set the tone for the guest experience

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with a warm, genuine smile and make them feel at home
• Take orders accurately and efficiently — in person and at the register
• Answer menu questions and help guests find their new favorite thing to eat
• Handle transactions with care and accuracy
• Keep your station clean, organized and guest-ready at all times
• Support the team and jump in wherever you're needed

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. Requirements
