Urbane Cafe Operations LLC is seeking friendly cashiers to be the welcoming face of Urbane Cafe in California. You will greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and handle transactions while contributing to a fast-paced, guest-focused experience.

The role offers competitive hourly pay with tips, flexible shifts including lunch and dinner, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company expanding across Southern California and Nevada.

Competenze

• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with guests and team – bilingual a plus.
• Able to perform simple math calculations and make change.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with a warm, genuine smile and make them feel at home
• Take orders accurately and efficiently — in person and at the register
• Answer menu questions and help guests find their new favorite thing to eat
• Handle transactions with care and accuracy
• Keep your station clean, organized and guest-ready at all times
• Support the team and jump in wherever you're needed

What You Bring

• A naturally friendly, upbeat personality
• Great communication skills and a love for guest interaction
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Prior cashier or guest service experience a plus — but we'll train the right person!

Our Story

Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients — all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.
