Job summary

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa in Sanibel, FL invites applications for an Outlet Cashier. You will greet guests, process payments, and balance the register while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

The role requires attentiveness, strong cash handling, and knowledge of resort services. In addition to cash handling, you’ll perform opening/closing side work, maintain outlet cleanliness, and assist guests with questions about our F&B options.

Qualifications

• Maintain and clean outlet; perform required side work.

Job description

The Sundial Beach Resort and Spa is currently seeking an Outlet Cashier to greet guests as they arrive and set the tone for their experience when entering our F&B operation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains a guest focus while performing duties
• Assume responsibility for quality guests’ experience.
• Welcome and greet guests.
• Payments are immediately entered into the micros system.
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant and resort functions and services
• Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Complete opening and closing side work.
• Maintain clean and stocked outlet for guests use.
• Responsibilities also include filing orders, receiving money, and carrying out suggestive selling while managing all cash issued and received during the shift.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
