We are hiring for the position of Cashier at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc. If you're interested in joining our team, please apply now.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing efficient and courteous service to customers at all times, including managing check-out procedures and ensuring proper sign-off from the register.
• Scanning and ringing customer orders according to company policies, ensuring items are credited correctly and removed from carts.
• Handling and being accountable for all funds during transactions.
• Assisting courtesy clerks in bagging groceries.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
• Following all relevant laws and company policies regarding sales, coupons, and transactions such as WIC, check cashing, and card payments.
• Participating in weekly produce tests and recording all not-on-file items daily.
• Properly managing change, using the intercom, and understanding the ValuCard program.
• Assisting with light stocking duties and keeping the front end clean.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
