Job Title: Cashier

Reports To: Guest Service Department Manager

We are seeking friendly, guest-focused Cashiers to provide outstanding service in a helpful environment. As a key part of our retail team, you'll ensure every shopper leaves eager to return.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
  • Engage with Guests: Greet warmly, make eye contact, and ensure guests feel welcome.
  • Efficient Transactions: Scan items, process sales, and handle cash accurately.
  • Bagging with Care: Bag items thoughtfully to prevent damage.
  • Stay Informed: Know current promotions to assist guests effectively.
  • Maintain Order: Keep your station neat and stocked.
  • Communication: Relay guest requests to management to ensure satisfaction.
  • Quality Standards: Meet quality and quantity standards, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
  • Teamwork: Support team duties as needed.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and communicate absences timely.
What We're Looking For:
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage and serve guests effectively.
  • Retail Experience: Experience with transactions and cash handling.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication with guests and team members.
  • Accuracy: Precise reading, counting, and writing skills.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate necessary equipment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, bending, and lifting merchandise. Must be able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Schedule

The position offers flexible part-time and full-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on your availability.
