Job Title: Cashier

Reports To: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It is a guest-facing role, often the first point of contact with guests beyond the welcoming greeting.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Responsibility for the accuracy of guest orders.
• Effective communication skills to handle guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Proficiency in using the POS system.
• Ensuring accuracy of the cash drawer.
• Team player attitude.
• Sincere appreciation and thanks to guests for their business.
• Participation in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
• Maintaining an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
• Willingness to perform other restaurant functions such as food preparation or cleaning, as directed by management.
• Adherence to all food safety and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: $9-$10 per hour, based on experience.
