Job Summary

As a Seasonal Event Staff Member, you will play an essential role in delivering seamless, thrilling, and memorable experiences for every guest. You will bring energy, attentiveness, and professionalism to ensure the event runs smoothly—guiding guests, managing crowd flow, and maintaining the immersive atmosphere that defines our attraction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Traffic Flow Management
    • Guide guests efficiently through the attraction, keeping lines moving and minimizing wait times.
    • Direct visitors to designated areas such as queue lines, entrances, and exits, implementing effective crowd management strategies.
    • Be proactive in identifying potential bottlenecks and respond quickly to ensure a steady, enjoyable flow.
  • Customer Service
    • Deliver friendly, professional assistance at every interaction.
    • Answer questions, provide clear instructions, and help guests understand the rules and layout of the haunt.
    • Approach every concern with empathy and resolve issues promptly, turning challenges into positive experiences.
  • Event Operations
    • Play a hands‑on role in event setup and teardown, keeping every area clean, organized, and ready for action.
    • Work closely with fellow staff to maintain the immersive environment, ensuring props, décor, and effects are in place and functioning.
    • Support special event needs as they arise to create a seamless experience behind the scenes.
  • Safety and Security
    • Stay alert for safety hazards and report them immediately to management.
    • Assist security personnel in maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.
    • Respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
  • Communication
    • Collaborate with actors, managers, and other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
    • Share important updates, coordinate crowd movements, and contribute ideas to improve operations and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified through E‑Verify.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Comfortable working in dark, loud, and themed environments with strobe effects, fog, and close guest interaction.
  • This is a seasonal position tied to select events produced by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. Employment is at‑will, and there is no guarantee of continued or repeat employment in future seasons or events.
