  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Essential Job Functions
  1. Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
  2. Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system.
  3. Handle various tenders and adhere to company policies regarding cash handling and restricted sale items.
  4. Report discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  5. Stay current with ads and promotions.
  6. Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures.
  7. Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
  8. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
  9. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  10. Follow all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
  11. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
  12. Act with honesty and integrity, especially regarding customer and business information.
  13. Follow directions and seek help when needed.
  14. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  15. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
