Overview of Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company. Your responsibilities include processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information and resolve complaints. Additionally, you will assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items, guiding customers to product locations, and staying informed about store events are also part of your role. You must ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Be outgoing, friendly, positive, and able to interact well with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive activities, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and excellent cash handling skills.

Pay Range

The pay range is $16.45 - $18.95 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
