Overview of Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and with friendly service to ensure satisfaction. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, giving correct change, and assisting customers with information and complaints. You will also help with stocking shelves, facing products, dusting, and maintaining clean checkout areas. Knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and effective communication with management are essential. All related duties as assigned should be executed diligently.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.
