Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a staff member to provide basic point of sale customer and inventory assistance in Nutrition Services, including cash and non-cash transactions for the Seasons Cafeteria. The role is located at University Hospitals.

Minimum education and experience requirements are set by Classified Civil Service specs, with six months of customer service and six months of record-keeping experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description Provides basic point of sale customer and inventory assistance for a retail or sales operation of the university (e.g., customer service, cashiering, cleaning, displaying, stocking merchandise on the retail floor). This position in Nutrition Services is responsible for cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases through the Seasons Cafeteria. Position located at University Hospitals. Minimum Education Required Per Classified Civil Svc Specs Required Qualifications Six months experience (600 hrs. coursework) in customer service, preferably in a sales/retail environment; 6 mos. experience (600 hrs coursework) in record keeping; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
