Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Cashier for University Hospitals, Nutrition Services, Seasons Cafeteria. This role provides basic point of sale customer service and assists with cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services, while supporting inventory, cleaning, displaying and stocking of merchandise on the retail floor.

The position is located at University Hospital – Doan Hall, with regular 40-hour schedules across varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in customer service, preferably in a sales/retail environment.
• Six months experience in record keeping (600 hrs coursework) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum education required per Civil Service specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic point of sale customer service and assist with cashiering duties.
• Handle cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, displaying and cleaning in the Seasons Cafeteria.
