Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling payments, assisting customers with product information, and resolving complaints. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, directing customers to products, and communicating effectively with management are essential. Ensuring checkout areas are clean and orderly is also part of your role, along with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Maintain an outgoing, friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and moving grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and mathematical skills.
