Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting support functions.
• Demonstrates multi-tasking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred experience with all Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Excel.
• Advanced organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, process, allocate, and record cash transactions for GAIC, MCC, and Republic.
• Support multiple bank accounts and lockboxes.
• Manage ACH, wire, check, and lockbox transactions.
• Resolve exceptions and process returned payments.
• Coordinate with banking partners.
• Prepare cash receipt and intercompany journal entries, including transfers when payments are received by the incorrect legal entity.
• Process refunds and payments related to funds received in error.
• Maintain processing statistics.
• Support monthly reporting.
• Update procedures and process documentation.
• Provide critical support to Agency Bill and Direct Bill operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
