Behavior Frontiers, LLC is hiring a full-time cash posting clerk to support the Accounting & Billing Department in El Segundo, CA. This role posts patient and payor payments, reconciles 835 files, and ensures accurate remittance posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of cash posting experience preferred.
• Ability to read remittance advices and explanations of benefits preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• Reliable, punctual, and quick learner in a fast-paced office.
• able to undergo TB testing and FBI/DOJ fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Post payor and patient payments promptly for services.
• Post remittance information to the correct service line item.
• Document deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance accurately.
• Balance 835 ACH deposits and create manual entries as needed.
• Reconcile 835 files to EOBs for accurate auto-posting.
• Post all zero pays to the system.
• Respond to posting inquiries professionally and timely.
• Balance weekly/monthly bank deposit reports with accounting.
