Concentra, Inc is seeking a Cash Posting Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to manage posting, reconsiderations and adjustments across payment types in the billing system. You will ensure timely, accurate processing in line with Concentra policies and procedures, supporting efficient claims handling and revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college or medical billing training is a plus.
• Experience with healthcare billing or multi-location practices preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply payments and post to billing system.
• Transfer payments to other Central Business Offices as needed.
• Process zero pay explanations and justify zero pay.
• Verify payments and match balances.
• Process batches with correct payment types.
• Research chargebacks and bad checks.
• Prepare and review daily data reports and identify discrepancies.
• Communicate trends or problems to appropriate personnel.
• May perform lead duties and oversee reconsiderations.
