Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience in a fast-paced high-speed processing environment.
• AA Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Solid knowledge of department policies, custody, security, compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
• Experience cross-functionally to meet internal/external client needs.
• Ability to work independently and make timely decisions.
• Strong written and oral communication and diplomacy skills.
• Technical aptitude to learn and operate systems (BPS 3000, Control Center, BCAPS, EMS, FedCash Central).
• Analytical skills to evaluate data for operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct distribution and processing activities to meet customer deadlines.
• Act as a liaison between management and staff; relay decisions and rationale.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers.
• Lead in researching and resolving operational challenges across work processes.
• Contribute to quality and audit readiness through documentation review.
• Monitor risk management adherence and complete risk assessments.
• Optimize equipment performance and coordinate maintenance.
• Train staff on systems, upgrades, compliance, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Provide management with recommendations.
• Manage historical reports and records per retention guidelines.
• Maximize inventory management through monitoring backlog and targets.
• Prepare and validate operational statistics for management decisions.
• Participate in projects focusing on operational improvements and technology.
