Job summary

Deutsche Bank in New York, NY seeks a Divisional Risk and Control Specialist within Cash Management to strengthen the 1st line of defense across the division. You will oversee control processes, advise on audit findings, and help implement non-financial risk policies.

The role collaborates with ORM, Compliance, AFC, Legal and Group Audit, supports regulatory inquiries, and uses data-driven approaches to identify risks, drive improvements, and prepare governance material for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Cash Management knowledge with exposure to Compliance, AFC, Operations, Legal and Group Audit.
• Familiarity with US and global financial regulation for Anti-Financial Crime in payments.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee various business control processes - ensuring controls are adequately designed, evidenced and escalation protocols are consistently followed.
• Advise, follow-up on, support resolution of audit findings and SIIs throughout the NFR lifecycle.
• Support the business in audits and regulatory inquiries with analysis of processes and control gaps.
• Drive risk identification and assessment relative to risk appetite via RCAs and scenario analysis.
• Prepare information for governance meetings to brief senior management.
• Think strategically about the business and market trends.
