Job summary

Uline, a North American leader in shipping and packaging materials, is hiring a Part-Time Cash Applications Specialist to support our Finance team.

You will process customer payments, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate account data in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Accounts receivable or banking experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; strong communication and typing with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process customer checks, electronic payments, and credit card transactions accurately.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain department reports, including account analysis and reconciliations.
• Review payment data from third-party partners and match to customer accounts.

Pay

Pay from $25 to $27 per hour

Part-Time Hours

Part-Time Hours: 15 - 20 hours per week.

Required Availability

Required Availability: Monday and Friday; Additional availability on Thursdays is a plus.

Position Responsibilities

• Process customer checks, electronic payments and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain department reports, including account analysis, reconciliations and accounting adjustments.
• Review payment data from third-party partners and match to customer accounts.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Accounts receivable or banking experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and typing skills with excellent attention to detail.
