Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead cash applications and high-volume accounts receivable in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise daily cash posting processes (lockbox, ACH, wire), resolve discrepancies, support month-end close, and mentor a team while implementing efficient controls and process improvements across the cash application function.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cash applications, AR, or general accounting.
• Supervisory or team lead experience in high-volume environments.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cash application processes including lockbox, ACH, wire, and other payments.
• Monitor accuracy and timeliness of postings to customer accounts and invoices.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash issues.
• Collaborate with banks and internal teams to resolve remittance problems.
• Support month-end close activities and cash-related reporting.
• Maintain documentation and procedures for cash controls.
• Train and mentor team members to drive efficiency and quality.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and speed.
• Support credit and collections as needed.

What You Will Be Doing:

Supervise daily cash application processes including lockbox, ACH, wire, and other payment methods.

Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of payment postings to customer accounts and invoices.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash issues.

Collaborate with banks, internal teams, and customers to resolve remittance and payment processing issues.

Support month-end close activities and reporting for cash-related transactions.

Maintain documentation and procedures related to cash application processes and controls.

Train, mentor, and support team members while promoting consistency, accountability, and performance improvement.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Support the credit and collections team as needed.

Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Skills You Bring:

2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting.

Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a high-volume environment.

Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Experience working with lockbox files and banking platforms.

Familiarity with EDI, ACH, and wire payment processing.

Prior experience with deduction resolution or customer portals preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
