Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Supervisor to lead daily cash postings, including lockbox, ACH, and wire payments. The role requires strong Excel and ERP skills and reports to finance leadership.

You will supervise a high-volume team, ensure timely postings, resolve discrepancies, and drive process improvements while maintaining strict financial controls and supporting month-end closes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cash applications, AR, or accounting experience.
• Experience supervising a high-volume cash application team.
• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and financial controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with lockbox processing and banking platforms.
• Familiarity with EDI, ACH, and wire payments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Deduction resolution or customer portals experience preferred.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cash application processes including lockbox, ACH, wire, and other payment methods.
• Monitor accuracy and timeliness of postings to customer accounts and invoices.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash issues.
• Collaborate with banks, internal teams, and customers to resolve remittance issues.
• Support month-end close activities and reporting for cash-related transactions.
• Maintain documentation and procedures related to cash application controls.
• Train, mentor, and support team members while promoting accountability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support the credit and collections team as needed.
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with procedures.

What You Will Be Doing

• Supervise daily cash application processes including lockbox, ACH, wire, and other payment methods.
• Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of payment postings to customer accounts and invoices.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash issues.
• Collaborate with banks, internal teams, and customers to resolve remittance and payment processing issues.
• Support month-end close activities and reporting for cash-related transactions.
• Maintain documentation and procedures related to cash application processes and controls.
• Train, mentor, and support team members while promoting consistency, accountability, and performance improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the credit and collections team as needed.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Skills You Bring

• Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
• 2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with lockbox files and banking platforms.
• Familiarity with EDI, ACH, and wire payment processing.
• Prior Experience With Deduction Resolution Or Customer Portals Preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
