Job summary

The Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Woodstock, GA for a full-time, on-site role. You will post and apply incoming payments, reconcile cash deposits, resolve unapplied or misapplied payments, and support month-end close with accurate documentation.

Daily deadlines require strong organizational skills and attention to detail. We value candidates with 2+ years in cash application or AR, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet daily deadlines and manage high volume of transactions

Responsibilities

• Post and apply incoming cash receipts to customer accounts
• Reconcile daily cash deposits with bank records
• Research and resolve unapplied, misapplied, or short payments
• Communicate with customers and internal teams for remittance information
• Process credit memos, refunds, and adjustments
• Maintain accurate records of cash transactions
• Assist with month-end close activities related to cash and AR
• Support audit requests with documentation and reconciliations
• Identify payment trends or discrepancies and escalate
