Job summary

MES Life Safety is seeking an Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist to ensure customer payments are identified, posted, and accurately applied across MES entities and bank accounts. You will research remittance details, resolve exceptions, and maintain clean, reconciled cash postings in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of AR experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• At least three years of AR or cash‑application experience
• Experience processing lockbox, ACH, wires, checks and remittances
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP preferred

Responsibilities

• Record customer receipts in NetSuite and post to correct accounts
• Apply payments to invoices, memos and business entities
• Research missing remittance details and resolve application mismatches
• Reconcile cash activity and maintain accurate customer balances
• Handle high daily payment volumes with accuracy and timeliness
