FireTron, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Cash Application Specialist to support our Accounts Receivable function. This role handles the timely processing of customer payments from receipt to deposit and application.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, and the ability to manage a high volume of daily transactions in a fast-paced environment. On-site in Stafford, TX.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy in cash posting.
• Proven ability to reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience handling multiple payment methods and postings.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments to accounts and invoices daily.
• Research unapplied and unidentified payments and contact customers as needed.
• Reconcile cash receipts with bank deposits and AR subledger.
• Collaborate with Credit & Collections to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain audit trails and documented procedures.
• Assist in month-end closing related to AR and cash.
