GNCO, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist (Cash Application) to join our AR team in Independence, OH on-site. This role supports payments processing and reconciliation, ensuring accurate application to customer accounts.

Key responsibilities include receiving payments by checks, ACH, or cards, matching remittances to invoices, and resolving discrepancies with professionalism. A high school diploma and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Formación

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Cash Application experience.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving payments: Process payments received through various methods including checks, electronic transfers, credit card payments, and cash.
• Identifying payment details: Review payment information such as remittance advice or payment reference numbers to accurately match payments with the correct customer and invoice.
• Applying payments: Apply payments to the appropriate outstanding invoices or accounts to update customer balances and reflect accurate financial records in the accounting system.
• Reconciliation: Ensure that all payments are correctly recorded and reconcile them with bank statements and the company’s accounting records.
• Resolving discrepancies: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies, such as short payments or missing details, which may involve contacting customers or further investigation.
