Key responsibilities include receiving payments by checks, ACH, or cards, matching remittances to invoices, and resolving discrepancies with professionalism. A high school diploma and 2+ years’ experience are required.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cash Application Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receiving Payments: Process payments received through various methods including checks, electronic transfers, credit card payments, and cash.
• Identifying Payment Details: Review payment information such as remittance advice or payment reference numbers to accurately match payments with the correct customer and invoice.
• Applying Payments: Apply payments to the appropriate outstanding invoices or accounts to update customer balances and reflect accurate financial records in the

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in an accounts receivable or cash application role, preferably in material handling industry or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle discrepancies with professionalism.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Cash Application experience required.
