Cash Applications Specialist (Contract through May 31st)

Location: Sandy Springs, GA

Rate: $40–$50/hour

Schedule: Contract role through May 31, 2025 - Hybrid

Accountants One is actively recruiting for a Cash Applications Specialist to support our client on a contract basis through the end of May. This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise in Sage Intacct and cash applications to a fast-paced, dynamic accounting team. The role offers a hybrid work environment and competitive hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume cash applications and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts with stringent deadlines
• Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve unapplied or misapplied payments
• Maintain and update cash receipts and reconciliation records
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to cash posting
• Ad hoc reporting and support as needed by the AR/Finance team

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required
• 3+ years of experience in Cash Applications and Account Reconciliations
• Strong understanding of AR processes and general accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting
