Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to relate compassionately with people in emergency situations.

• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess client’s situation and determine possible assistance.
• Participate in community events and meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client information.

Skills

Knowledge of entitlement programs and program regulations

Strong interpersonal skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving

Bilingual preferred (English w/Spanish)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social work or relevant human services degree

High school diploma with 3 years’ experience
