Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington seeks an experienced employment case manager to support households in OSHS programs. You will coordinate care with partner agencies and assist clients toward financial independence.

The role involves pre-employment work, job development, and ongoing support to connect clients with employers and community resources. Ideal candidates hold a BA in Psychology or Social Work, with related experience in mental health and poverty reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Preference given to lived experiences with chemical dependency or mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of community services; background in direct treatment of mentally ill persons (2+ years).
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment case management for OSHS participants.
• Coordinate care with partner agencies to support progress toward financial independence.
• Conduct pre-employment assessments and outreach activities.
• Develop person-centered employment plans with job development and placement.
• Assist with career advancement, credentialing programs, and employer negotiations.
• Coordinate job analysis, coaching, and benefits education/planning.
• Arrange transportation and connect to community resources.
• Maintain accurate timecards and program documentation; ensure HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow agency policies as a mandated reporter and maintain client confidentiality.
