Job summary

Teller County Government is seeking a Case Services Aide II – Ongoing to supervise court-ordered visitations and support family bonding in various settings. You will back up the Hotline Screener, perform background checks, and maintain confidential records while coordinating with caseworkers and therapists.

Requirements include a high school diploma and several years in public-facing social services, with the ability to travel locally and work some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years public contact experience in providing services.
• One year in a social service agency; substitutions allowed with education/training.
• Familiarity with state and local child welfare concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise court-ordered visitations and coordinate scheduling with parents, foster parents, schools, and rooms.
• Document observations and interactions after each visit.
• Use fact-based information gathering to assess safety concerns.
• Provide transportation to clients as needed.
• Meet with supervisor and caseworkers to review case plans and relay crisis information.
• Participate in team meetings and DHS agency meetings.
• Request and maintain records; input referrals into computer systems.
• Perform administrative duties for Supervisors and Caseworkers (filing, storage, routine forms).
• Back up the Intake Case Services Aid and handle reports of abuse/neglect.
