Job summary

The State of Vermont is seeking a Human Services Case Aide II on a temporary basis to support the Family Services Division’s case management and client services. You will assist workers, gather information for case files, provide administrative support, and accompany clients to appointments, including transporting children when needed.

The position is temporary with variable hours and travel; background checks and DMV/abuse registry checks will be conducted as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher or two years of full-time college coursework.
• One year of full-time college coursework AND one year or more of experience providing direct client services.
• Two years or more of experience providing direct client services.

Responsibilities

• Assist Family Services Workers and the District Office in case management and client services.
• Gather information for case files and provide administrative support.
• Interact with clients during contact visits and transport children to appointments.
• Occasional travel may be required.
