Frederick County Virginia Government is seeking a detail‑oriented Case Officer to provide case management and administrative support to Old Dominion Court Services. You will conduct intakes, run VCIN checks, interview defendants, and enter data into PTCC while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain a VCIN certification through the Virginia State Police.
• Excellent computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes of defendants reporting from the Magistrate or Courts.
• Run criminal history in VCIN and enter placement data.
• Interview defendants/probationers and conduct risk assessments.
• Document all interactions in case files and PTCC.
• Monitor inactive cases and schedule appointments; assist officers.
• Testify in court and perform data entry of placements.
