Frederick County Virginia Government is seeking a detail‑oriented Case Officer to provide case management and administrative support to Old Dominion Court Services. You will conduct intakes, run VCIN checks, interview defendants, and enter data into PTCC while maintaining confidentiality.
The role requires strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and de‑escalate tense situations in a criminal justice setting.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to provide case management and administrative support to Old Dominion Court Services. This position will conduct intakes for pretrial defendants and probationers, monitor pending cases, and coordinate with judges, court staff, and other court personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and be comfortable handling sensitive information.
This position requires typing, sitting for long periods, standing, walking, bending/stooping. Physical lifting of up to 20 pounds is sometimes required. Travel is required for training within Virginia and to the ODCS offices, courts, jails, and other required locations.
This position is an office and jail environment with the inherent dangers associated with working within the criminal justice setting.
