Job summary

AOE International, a nonprofit focused on workforce development, seeks a Case Manager to carry a participant caseload from enrollment through at least one year of follow-up. You will build Individual Employment Plans, monitor progress, and provide Barrier Reduction services to remove barriers to training.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, tracking, and coordination with transition staff to support job readiness and placement, with monthly follow-up after completion.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of case management or career coaching experience with adults who face barriers to employment.
• Experience with people returning from incarceration, low-income households or English language learners.
• Knowledge of community resources in the service area.
• Accurate record keeping and sound judgment with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of participants from enrollment through at least one year of follow-up after completion.
• Build each participant's Individual Employment Plan and track progress through training and into work.
• Administer Barrier Reduction services to remove practical obstacles to training.
• Conduct needs assessment and coordinate with transition services staff on job readiness and placement.
• Record services, contacts and outcomes in the CEJA Reporting System within five business days.
