VOA–Greater New York seeks a Case Manager Supervisor to lead Case Managers and a Housing Specialist, ensuring high-quality services aligned with program guidelines and funder requirements. The role focuses on supervision, training, and performance management in the Bronx.

A strong background in human services, with supervisory experience, is essential. The position emphasizes collaboration with multiple agencies, client-centered case management, and adherence to confidentiality and funding

Qualifications

• : Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with three years of experience with a similar population of clients and one year of supervisory experience, or 60 college credits with satisfactory years of supervisory experience.
• : Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication, including basic computer skills, and the ability to work with multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

• : Oversee the performance and development of Case Managers and the Housing Specialist, ensuring services align with guidelines and funder requirements.
• : Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team discussions to ensure caseloads are managed effectively and policies are followed.
• : Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for staff.
• : Develop linkages with internal and external services and state/city liaisons.
• : Monitor and ensure timely completion of intake forms, assessments, IHP, TFA, and progress notes.
• : Conduct periodic audits of case files for compliance.
• : Provide direct case management services including assessments and advocacy.
• : Support housing needs with client-centered assistance for long-term stability.
• : Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback.
• : Document activities confidentially and timely.
• : Assist outreach to identify veterans eligible for SSVF and conduct community outreach.
