Job summary

Volunteers of America of Massachusetts (VOAMASS) is hiring a part-time Case Manager for the Pipelines to Possibility program. This on-site role supports participants pre- and post-release to obtain sustainable employment, with intake, IDPs, and ongoing advocacy and referrals.

The position requires travel between program sites and community locations; a valid driver's license and clearance are necessary. Salary is $28 per hour, with benefits described for full-time employees where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, rehabilitative counseling, human services, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience providing case management, reentry, workforce development, employment, or related human services preferred.
• Experience with justice-involved individuals and barriers to employment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Program Director and ECSD staff to identify, screen, refer, and enroll eligible participants in P2P.
• Conduct participant intake, assessments, and strengths-based evaluation of employment goals, work history, skills, and barriers to successful participation and employment.
• Develop and maintain Individualized Development Plans (IDPs) with participants and update plans as needs, goals, release dates, and employment circumstances change.
• Provide individualized case management and participant support before and after release, including regular one-on-one sessions in the community post-release.
• Identify barriers to training, reentry, employment, and retention, including transportation, documentation, housing instability, behavioral health needs, digital access, and other support needs.
