Job summary

GEO Group, Inc. seeks a dedicated facilitator/counselor to support reentry programs at the Memphis DRC. The role requires delivering evidence-based modules to participants and guiding them through life skills and behavioral change.

Responsibilities include group and individual counseling, curriculum reviews, and coordinating with staff to plan post-release support and community resource connections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience as a facilitator/educator/group moderator preferred.
• Experience in a correctional setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings.
• Review curriculum and resources to enhance participation and outcomes.
• Maintain class rosters and attendance; provide completion certificates.
• Assess participant needs and make referrals to management.
• Provide individual and group counseling on self-esteem and problem solving.
• Support reentry planning and identify community resources.
