Job summary

Tidal Basin is seeking a Case Manager to serve disaster survivors as the primary point of contact, assessing needs and helping develop Recovery Plans. Local candidates only.

The role requires coordinating services, building community relationships, and representing the organization at events. Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree, at least 1 year of publicly facing case management experience, data-entry skills, and the ability to clear a background check.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in social work, public administration, communications, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of experience in publicly facing case management
• Experience compiling and entering data is preferred
• Experience in event planning and public speaking is a plus
• Must be able to clear a criminal background check

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact in serving disaster survivors. This position is responsible for assessing survivors’ disaster caused unmet needs and actively assisting in the development of their Recovery Plan.
