Symetra is seeking an LTD Case Manager to make timely, accurate, and customer-focused long-term disability claim decisions. You will gather information from clinical, vocational, employer, financial sources and assess data against contract terms while maintaining clear communication.

Make timely, accurate, and customer-focused Long-Term Disability claim decisions. Actively get in touch with clinical, vocational, employer, financial, and other relevant internal and external sources to gather necessary data. Evaluate this data against the contract and procedural documents. Perform analysis and consult with peers or management when appropriate. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Employ the claim system fully with detailed and accurate information. Maintain or exceed departmental performance metrics. Stay flexible and responsive. LTD claim decisions handled here can be quite complex. These claims may have long durations and large financial impact, which increases the company's exposure to risk. Create solutions based on research or by reconsidering current approaches. The level of independent judgment required increases over time.

Salary Range: $54,000 - $91,000/ year plus eligibility for annual bonus program.
